Hello All,
I have transported one delta DTP from Development to quality system.
for some reason in development I had to delete that Delta DTP .After that I created the delta DTP (technical name is different from previous DTP) and then transported to quality.
I have captured the deletion of OLD DTP and creating of new DTP in my TR but after transport new DTP has not come and Old DTP is not deleted in quality.
But the TR transported successfully and all other object captured in that TR has come.
What can be the reason. Can anyone help me.
Thanks,
Ipsita
Hi
Already Deleted DTP can be captured manually in SE09 by selecting the appropriate option and then move it to Quality system.
Then check in corresponding DTP tables in Quality - it should have disappeared.

Hello,
Ideally you should have captured the two DTPs(Deleted DTP & New) in two separate TRs. In this way you would have maintained the sequence as well i.e. deleting the old DTP and moving your new DTP.
Now you can directly delete the DTP in Quality system and capture the new DTP in dev system a new TR and move it to quality. So that you will have your new DTP in place in QA.

Ramesh

Hi,
Aren't you allowed to create DTP in QA directly?
Anyway, if it's a DELTA DTP make sure that you have DELETED first the data in your DSO or CUBE before transporting the TR for deletion of DTP.

Hi Ipsita,
In Quality system in RSBKDTP table provide old DTP name execute and check what is in DTP original field and check vice versa.
