E-Recruiting: Changeable Letter Section ignores the Format of the letter

We are using Changeable letter sections for editing the correspondence letters. When we are editing the text, the actual format set for the smartform is being removed and displaying the whole text as if there is no format associated with it.

If we are displaying the letter without editing, the format exists and diplays the letter fine.

Is this an erroneous behaviour or is this the normal way how it works?

you will loose any inline formatting when you change the letter section in Release 600 or 600 EhP3 (EhP4 is working a bit other here). So if you make some words bold they will loose this formating.

I think you also loose the general setting of the text block. I usually set the formating in the smartform again. In the step where you define the output of the changed text block you get via the smartform interface. there should be 2 fields for the formatting at the end of the screen. Put the paragraph format in there again.

If you still have problems with it, give me another prost. I'll test it again when I have access to my systems again.

    Best Regards
