what are the various post installation steps for java addin

Dear basis gurus,

we have installed the java addin for non unicode ABAP ( ERP 6.0)

Could you please tell me what are the various common post installation steps after the addon installation. ( we have not incorporated any usage types here)

as far as i know we need to apply j2ee license, java sps, and kernel patches. and adjust the VM settings if required to do so.

It would be great if you can tell any additional post installation steps other than this.
