Approval procedures incomplete when Approval Status is Rejected

Hi

It is too inflexible when an Approval Process cannot be completed when Approval Status is Rejected and we are not able to edit Approval Stage or Template.

We are forced to Approved and post the document then cancel it in order to edit existing Approval Stage and Template else we have to always recreate new Approval Stage and Template.

i believe after rejection user should be able to edit the document or creator can remove the document before approval decision

I managed to find a relevant SAP Note 791704 to Close Rejected or Approved Document Draft to enable editing Approval Template.
