Hi,
I wonder if we should activate all BC Sets for EWM and if that is possible. Will it cause any inconsistencies?
I have made some configurations for the delivery document type and item type with the same names as in the BC Sets. If I activate the relevant BC Sets, will my configuration be overwritten?
Hi Tri,
Though it's possible to activate almost all the BC sets, due to data dependencies, there could be issues. It is best to check for avoiding errors . From what I know, BC sets can be activated if there is no production client in system.
It does gives the warning while activating using T Code SCPR20. the aftermath is quite self explanatory:
'Caution You have started the BC Set activation If you continue, new data records will be created and/or existing ones overwritten'

Hi Asif Habib,
Thanks for your answers.
We have just installed an instance of S/4H 1709. I noticed that the preconfigured warehouse 0001 exists but configurations about delivery and other integration are missing.
Is it the normal scenario for EWM when installing the system? And when implementing for a specific business, we have to check the relevant BC Sets and activate them?
Hi Asif,
Our Basis has a hard time getting these basic BC Sets activated on one go.
They also don't know which BC Sets should be activated and which to be excluded.
Honestly, I am lost as well... We have just started studied S/4H and EWM for a while. Is there any document about which BC Sets should be available after installation?
Thanks.
