How to configure the portal ?

hi all,

We have ECC 6 with oracle 10.2.4, we want to configure the web portal through which user can access our app server remotely.

So anyone will tell me how to configure the portal and also tell any note regarding portal configuration ...

Hi,

ECC & Portal are different things. Portal is under Netweaver.

You can provide web connectivity by activating the gui service in SICF t-code but I will recommend you to use the SAProuter Or VPN connection Or you can use the Citrix server.

Yes you are right that portal is under Netweaver but the thing is that I have no idea that how to configure that portal. Could you please tell me that configuration process and also tell me note releated to netweaver enterprise portal.

What "configuration"?

A portal is a framework for web applications, it's not meant as tool for "remote access".
