Storage bin capacity

Hi All,

I need to do the following.

We want to use bulk storage and apply the following:

System needs to be set that a storage bin can only hold x amount of pallets / totes etc. So that when a series of Transfer Orders are created it will see that the bin can take one pallet so on the next TO suggest the next availablke bin.

How and where is this set?

In addition to Jothiswaran i would like add somthing,

In OMM4 you can define the block structure ,

by specifying storage bin type , storage unit type Hight *width =No. of storage units can be fit in the defined conditions

(i.e.storage bin type , storage unit type) for perticular storage type.

My suggestion is goto

SPRO - IMG - Logistic Execution - Warehouse managment -- Strategies - Define Strategy for Pallet

Define the stratey "P" for the storage type

Activate / Assign the bin section and Bin Type and storage unit type

This canbe configured under LE-warehouse mangement-strategies-putaway strategis-configure for bulk storage strategies- Here you can define different combination of bulk storage with number of bin sectioning.
