Standard address Vs Ship-to Address.

Hi,

When i create a company code in SRM [through PPOMA_BBP], it allows me to create the Ship-to addresses for that Co.Code/Bus.Partner in the Portal side through T.code 'Edit Internal Addresses'. Once i maintain a ship-to address, the system automatically creates a similar address and makes it as 'Standard Address'. Now there are two addresses in the system for the same address details, one tagged as 'Standard Address' and the other as 'Ship-to-address'.

The problem here is, when the Users are searching for the ship-to address at the time of Shopping Cart creation, the system shows up two addresses in the search screen, which is really annoying the Users.

Is there any way to block the 'Standard address' from the list of Ship-to-addresses while doing the address search ?

In our system, we have more than one comp.code and for evey comp.code the addresses are lsited twice.

Hi Harsha,

If you need to modify the list of ship to addresses.please try to do it usig a BADi as Muthuraman suggested.If BADI is not available /cannot be used,then you may need to modify the search help exit to display the custom list of addresses to be displayed.Pls refer foll search helps for more info BBP_ADDR_BUPA_COMPANY /BBP_ADDR_BUPA.

ADDR_SHIPT ATTRIBUTE value or default as ship to address in the address helps to give deleivery address in the purchase order.
