Billing date is for Monday for the orders created on Saturday and Sunday

Hi Friends,

I have an issue, that for the orders that are created on weekdays, the Billing date is for the same day.

But for the orders that are created on Saturday and Sunday, the Billing date is being determined automatically for Monday.

The goods are service material and ther is no delivery being created for these goods.Still the requested delivery date is being determined for Monday for the weekend orders.

Any idea where i can check these settings or which program or userexit can be looked into for this.

Thanks in advance...

Sultan,

I suggest you to check the master data (Sales area/Billing) of the customer(s) having this issue, becuase it sounds like that they may be assigned to special factory calendar (Invoices dates or invoicing list dates). The factory calendar may be set with a billing schedule for weekend activity, which proposes the first business day, which is likely to be Monday.

Hope this helps.

Hi Gustavo,

Thanks for your response......I have already checked that....No Factory calendar is assigned to these customers.

It is Order related billing and as far as I know,In order related billing, the billing date of the order forms the basis of the billing date.

If we are billing services, the system proposes the date of services rendered.

But what I am not able to figure out is how to control this......The date of service rendered.

Any suggestions.

Hello,

The Delivery date and the Billing date will be determined based on the Factory calendar used at three level of Organiational Units.

First is at the Sales organisation level

Second is at the Plant level for the Schedle lines detrmination

Third is at the Shipping point level.

Please check the Factory calendar code used at these three levels,

If you want the calendar for the codes, then goto transaction code OVR3 OR SCAL.

There you wil know the Working days and the Holidays.

regards,

sanosh
