Problem with generate export datasource

Hello,

I have one ods in productive system and I transported one change for add new fields from development system.

The ODS is active in PRD but the problem is that the infosource and datasource hasn´t the new fields. I have generate export datasource in ods but the datasource (8ODS) doesn´t change.

Any idea?

Hi there,

Try to replicate all the datasources that comes from BI Producion system.

Transaction RSA13 right-click on the system and choose replicate metadata.

Try to see if your datasource remains the same.

I have replicated all datasource from system BW, but my datasource doesn´t contain the fields of ods.

Are you sure your transport passed the changes? I.e., in Production the new fields are in fact in the ODS? If so, it should be there. No more ideas...

Yes, I have transport the new fields of ODS. In production the fields are in transaction RSA1 and SE11, but de export datasource doesn´t contain this fields.

Hi there,

Try to go to transaction se38 and execute the report RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL and choose your BW source system and your InfoSource 8ODS... to see if it helps.

How is it your datasource incorrect? You receive any error message when you run the report?

The message of report is ok (green) and say that teh structures are actives. But my datasource hasn´t the sames field of ods.

I believe the thing u have transported is a "datasource:".. can u pls check in RSDS or RSA6 whether ur changes are in "hide" mode,, If yes remove and activate,

I hope u can explore RSA6..

Try at first to reimport your TR, use selections "Import Transport Request Again" (and maybe "Overwrite Objects in Unconfirmed Repairs" + "Overwrite Originals" ... what ever your did before ....). At last replicate!!! Sometimes you have to leave RSA1 too(all mode) and reenter RSA1 before the changes are displayed (it's SAP).

If does not work, collect the "Flow" again with a new TR. I guess you collected everything on one TR. You shouldn't do that!

Transport at first the new Objects and than the stuff flow-upwards, each with a new TR. Don't forget to replicate at the end.

try reactivate / regenerating your ODS /DSO before creating datasource.

If you reactivate nothing will happen because you have to made changes first, than you can reactivate.

But what will happen if you reactivate ... right the rules will be (re)activate also ... and this is

what she tried with the report ...*akctivate_all.
