Hi,
when the item quantity is changed, the status of the order is changed to inprocess automtically. Is this standard behaviour? There are no actions for this which we configured.
How can we stop this?

Shaik
Hi
This is standard behaviour.
You can create a action to release the order on save when there are no errors.
Hope this helps

This is standard behaviour. Incase you want to change this then write actions or can also change in the status management under SPRO customization.

HI,
Thanks for the inputs. I tried to change the status customization in spro to make the status change possible only manually but with out success. I left the field Trans blank against the user status In process, but it does not work.
Can you let me the settings in SPRO to stop automatic change of status to inprocess?
im not sure how can we achieve the same with actions as we normally use actions to set the status auomaticaly but not the other way .
All inputs will be appreciated.

Shaik
You can always create a new Status Profile based on the business requirement. Not all business cater to what SAP provides, so there is always a scope left for customization, be it from the SPRO or be it from the Code Perspective.
After you have created a status Profile attach it to the transaction type of your document and the rest will be taken care of by the framework.

Hi,
Path for status management is : SPRO --CRM -- Transaction --Basic Settings -- Status Management --Change Status Profile for user status.
Here You can define the status profile and the various status required as per the requirement.
After this assign this status profile to the required transaction.
SPRO --CRM -- Transaction --Basic Settings --- Define transaction types.
