good morning experts,

we need to submit a report to SAP about SAP users license. can anyone explain any strategy or best practice to go about. any tips and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

You account was created in 2007. Why are you only paying license fees now?

It also depends on the License agreement with SAP... depending on that you need to read and send User data to SAP. Check the agreements and the required information you need to send. Please specify your query if you face any issue during these phases.

First you need to find your contractual agreement with SAP. (to define the correct user types and your SAP products details).

Once you have this information, you can refer the user measurement guide.

USMM is the transaction which can be used for User measurement, in portal this is also different.

if you have many production system than you can also refer SLAW transaction.
