Group Currency vs CO Area Currency

Friends,

We are thinking of having three controlling areas - NA, EUR, ASIA. When I set up controlling area currency, would it be best to use 20 Controlling Area Currency or 30 Group Currency. At the end everything needs to be is USD, so I could use currency 20 for NA but then what happens for my other controlling areas.

Hi,

It is better to have the reporting currency as u r controlling area currency. If the reporting is done with usd, then create contolling area currency as usd.

In each controlling area whats the currency which u use as reporting is important. If for all the controlling areas u use the same currency for reporting say USD and USD is ur group currency for all the companies, then go ahead with Group currency for all the controlling areas.
