Field Exits in CRM 2007

Hi,

I have one question, the client i am working with has lot of field exits on CRM 4 and they want to migrate the same functionality in CRM 2007.

could anyone please advice me that how can we implement the same sort of functionality in Web UI?

    Kamesh,

    I don't know what type of "field-exits" you have implemented, but you can always implement custom logic for the Getter/Setter (display/input), V/P getter fields for a field on the context node that appears for a particular view in the UI. This will allow you to implement custom logic as needed. If you need to do this on more than one view, You can encapslate your logic into an ABAP class and call that class from the mulitple views to achieve your desired effect.

      Hi,

      I am able to use the field exit by copying the existing function module for field exits, but in existing function modules, it is throwing the error messages bases on the conditions like "Grouping required for create organization" , Invalid DEA number ,

      is there any way i can raise the message from the function module.
