Run NwCheckWorkStation on Installation End

Hi guys,

I need please your help with the next requirement. I am use "SAP Installation Server" for deploy upgrades from SAP GUi 7.40 to 7.50 massively, this work fine form me, but, i need that installations after end run automacally a SAP GUI Check on each Workstation with NwCheckWorkStation.exe tool.

I see that it is posible remotly with "Event Scripts" on preconfigurate packages in "SAP Installation Server" but i don't know like auto run NwCheckWorkstation. Thanks for your help!

Hello Edison,

There are some scripting examples in the SAP Setup guide page 25.

You can run the nwcheckworkstation, or you can just get an alert if the nwsapsetup returns anything other than 0

This guide can be found under the \GUI\WINDOWS\Win32 of the compilation CD download.
