I know that HANA v1.0 stores Information View(calculation, analytic and attrivute view) definition as XML in the CDATA
column of the _SYS_REPO.ACTIVE_OBJECT
system table and we can query it by package name, object name and object suffix. However, when we move to SAP HANA 2.0 especially build using the WebIDE for HDI Containers, these information views (or rather we would have only calculation views) would be built and then run-time owned by the HDI container schema. Would the view definition still get stored in _SYS_REPO.ACTIVE_OBJECT? If no, where would the view definition be available from. I have been using it to find the views dependencies to the base columns.
I had asked a similar question here (https://answers.sap.com/questions/628829/does-sys-repoactive-object-still-valid-when-done-u.html) but I wanted a solution to get to this definition. Any help will be appreciated!
No because _SYS_BIC isn't used any longer as the home of the Calculation Views. You will find the runtime object in your container Schema instead.

You have to separate out the two parts here. HANA 2.0 doesn't immediately move anything. Its only when you convert to HDI/Web IDE that the content moves. But once you do migrate, the design time content is no longer stored in the HANA Repository (_SYS_REPO schema). Instead all design time content is stored in an external Git repository.
