Hi,
i have scheduled incremental user sync background job in GRC RAR 5.3 and i scheduled it to run immediately. but the job state is still showing ready and its not running. is there anything else to be done to resolve this/

check the free space available for the log files in the filesystem. Archive some of the logs or make more free space available.

Check if any other job ( as sync or batch risk analysis) is running, if any other job is running, it will start automatically after the first one is finished. If none is running, check the background job dameon status-
http://<IP/Hostname>:50000/sap/CCADStatus.jsp
If all threads are idle, then check your backend server if it is running, and restart the GRC J2ee server.

Please check the entries in table virsa_cc_threads and find the entries for background job . If you find the entries which are older and in idle state .Please check.
Please check how many server nodes are there in your system and how many background jobs are maintained under configuration.
