Unplanned Depreciation Impact

The Unplanned depreciation posted takes the effect on monthly depreciation from Period 1 of next financial year.

The requirement is to post unplanned depreciation and the depreciation posted in very next month should take the impact of Unplanned posted.

The work around to use reserve, negative write up have been evaluated and do not meet the requirement since it results in unusual depreciation amount in current year and next financial years.

Moreover the write up functionality has a limitation that it cannot be performed on assets acquired in current year.

An early reply would be appreciated.

Regards, Ravi Kumar

    Hi Srinu,

Thanks for your quick reply. Would appreciate if you could be more elaborate how to post write up on current year acquisitions.

For example - Assets capitalized on 01-Jul-09, How can we post write up on 14-Aug-09.
