Hi,
We are in the process of upgrading our ESS functionality to NW 7.0 and ECC 6.
The current solution we have ESS/MSS inbox. In the new version does it exist such a inbox -or should we use Universal worklist?
Or is this the same thing?

Yes as of ECC 600
UWL is recommended

Inbox is nothing but UWL in this new release, You have to make use of UWL,

UWL will deliver all the items as per SBWP ie a mirror image
