Issue with mass reversal task in BCS - documents not reversed out

Hello Everyone,

Due to a data issue from period 003 and fiscal year 2010, the requirement is to do a mass reversal on R1 and R2 document types in order for us to repeat the R1 (CTA consolidation task) and R2 (CTA Reversal tasks) in BCS monitor in order for us to correct the data and close the books properly.

When we run the mass reversal from BCS workbench with certain selection criteria mentioned in the details section, it mentions no data for selection and it does not reverse out the documents. I can see the documents in irreversible list instead.

This is required for us to correct some data from period 003 and period 004.

When I go into the Documents DSO, I can see documents from period 003 with inverted documents in period 004 of 2010 and which have not been reversed out.

So, we are expecting these documents to be reversed out in period 003 of 2010 along with the reversal of inverted entries in period 004 in order for us to go ahead and run the consolidation tasks which generates these documents one more time to correct the data.

So, can you guys please let me know what could be the issue with the mass reversal task.

We already ran the reversal task once in period 003 but after that ran the R1 and R2 tasks which generate documents in the document DSO which are the ones to be reversed out now...

Thanks

Dharma.
