How to connect to SAP Tables using this Designer tool? Please advice. Thanks.

Hi,

Designer is the tool which is used to create the universe from which you can create Web Intellgence or Cysrtal Reports.

In the Designer tool you can create the connection to get the SAP tables to the universe.

Ingo Hilgefort has clearly explained in detial the steps to create the connection in the universe.

It is not connecting to SAP when using the Designer. I installed the Integration Kit and SAP Java Connector.

My problem is how to access the SAP table in Datastore under the Data Services Management Console->Management?

Have tried adding a Database connection using the Data Services Repository Manager but still cannot connect to SAP database.

Please advice ASAP. Thanks.
