SBO Mailer - Scheduler

Does setting the SBO Mailer - Scheduler to Daily mean that all emails are only sent out once per day? Or do emails get sent instantly when sent from B1 through SBO Mailer, and the Scheduler has some other functionality?

The Admin Guide says the Scheduler defines a backup for the Mailer. Is this correct? If so, what is backed up, and where?

I believe your first understanding is correct. If you set Scheduler to Daily, all emails will only be sent out once per day. It is better by Interval so that can be more frequent.

Can you please explain the functionality of SBO Mailer and its configuration, how scheduling done with SBO Mailer, do we schedule some reports with it..
