We are using Cystal (11 SR2) to interface with our accounting system (.net platform) which is served to our clients on a Citrix Presentation 4.5 FR 3 server farm running on Windows Server 2003 SP2. We are having several issues on a daily basis:
When trying to print or preview we get "Unable to set printer for Crystal Report. There are no printers installed or no default priner is set for this work station."
Sometimes we get "Crystal Reports .NET error - "The request could not be submitted for background processing."
These issues do seem to be crashing the print spooler on the Citrix servers (3 servers happens on all of them) but I do not know if the crash happens before or after the error. The application vendor does not see it at their issue. I cannot apply the service packs for Crystal as that conflicts with the Crystal Viewer which the application utilizes.
Any insight to these messages would be greatly appreciated.
