Hi Folks,
My requirement is to create a URL for a document in EasyDMS, to either send it via email or paste it in a document,
Going through the EasyDMS help, it says "To send a document or folder as a URL, you need to have implemented the
Z_EASYDMS_GETURL function module. For more information, see the Installation Guide for SAP Easy Document Management, under Function Modules in SAP Easy Document Management."
I've checked the intallation guide and there isn't any additional information there as well.
Appreciate if somebody could share the steps on how this can be done. I am on ECC 6.0 using EasyDMS 6.0 SP12.
Thanks,
Lashan

hi
did ur FM has remote function enabled? Also, from easyDMS u need to refresh the rfc cachce (using preferences) once then eDMS will recognize the new FM. And entry should appear in context menu.
Unicode and Non unicode version are for the backend. You should use Unicode version of eDMS with unicode backend and similar for Non unicode version.

hi,
Did u defined In transaction DC30 you have to create a new workstation application which is able to handle URLs.
For example create application called "HTM"
Define file format *.htm , *.html to it.
Please make sure that the flag "Data check off" is set.
Also , u could set doctype, in Defin templeate for originals.
Note: for EDMS, u need to do basic Configuration in DC10 also which could triggers DMS functionalities....
