    Hi,

To fine the opening stock use table S033.

    Use fields mzubb and magbb.

    For example:

    SELECT SUM( mzubb ) SUM( magbb ) INTO (w_dr_menge , w_cr_menge)
         FROM s033
        WHERE sptag < so_date-low
          AND werks = werks
          AND matnr = matnr
          AND lgort = lgort.

      w_open_stock =  w_dr_menge - w_cr_menge.

    Thanks & Regards,

You can get this from these tables

MARD - details about current stock,

MARDH - details about stock at end of previous periods

And related to stock movements you may need to look into

    MKPF & MSEG .

and also check sap standard report MB5B

    Hi,

Table MBEWH also stores data about closing stocks till previous period.

Hence, closing stock for previous period will become your opening stock for current period.

Moreover it contains data material & plant wise subtotalling all possible movement types, therefore you dont need to calculate anything here.

    Regards,

    Amit
