Hello,
The procedure to add a widget to the "Home" page of the WebUI is a little bit confusing.
When you have added a widget URL in the personalize settings (personalize>Personalize widgets>Create your own widgets) remember the "Title" you gave it.
Back on the home page it makes no sense to add the "Widget" assignment block since it, as you told, only displays the "Titles" of your custom widget!
Personalize/configure (by clicking on the "wrench" icon in the upper right corner) your "Home"page and look for assignment block with the "Title" of your personal widget. Select that Title and your widget appears in its own assignment block!
Quite easy if you know it
