Materail download from ECC to CRM

Hello gurus

we area facing the problem with the materiall downlaod, the error we are getting is (hierarchy for materail type does not exist) when we download the object Materail

we have downloaded the objests :DNL_CUST_PROD0 ,PROD1, PROD3 ,BASIS1

and also we have assiged the

Application Hierarchy

Sales R3PRODHIER

Purchasing R3MATCLASS

Product R3PRODSTYP

Kindly suggest how to go further

Hi Sreeram,

Check the path

Cross Application Components  SAP Product  Product Category  Define Category Numbering Schemes and check for the schema R3PRODHIER It should match the ECC view PRODHS.

Also check Cross-Application Components  SAP Product Basic Settings  Define Output Format and Storage Format of Product Ids

It should match the setting in ECC transaction OMSL .

Make sure that you have dowonloade all the customizing objects before the Master data load.

Hello Sreeram,

There might be two reasons:

1)There must be some inconsistency in CRM with respect to hierarchies.You can use reports COM_HIERARCHY_DELETE_ALL in CRM and then again download DNL_CUST_PROD1 and then object MATERIAL.

2)There must be some materials in R/3 which have been maintained for some obsolete hierarchy.

That means hierarchy is not present in CRM and/or also it might not be present in table T179 of R/3.But in table MARA,this hierarchy has some records.Please check and correct the records.
