PREPROCESSOR_ACTIVITY_ERROR (Code 8010)

Hi All,

In our Trex system we are facing a error in one of the log file

error is "PREPROCESSOR_ACTIVITY_ERROR (Code 8010) & a rfc communication failed

===>protocol mismatch found for table.

We have found various threads reg PREPROCESSOR_ACTIVITY_ERROR but for other codes not for 8010.

Please help, when we checked the target system all RFC's are working fine (trex system to R3 system and vice versa).

All connections in TREXADMIN tool are in green

Hi All,

We are able to test all the connections from SM59 but why in the log files we are getting error message as " a rfc communication failed

Please perform the following steps.

Check from Backend system in SM59 connection for the perticular RFC is working fine thet you made in TREX to connect the backend system.

run runInstallationTest.py in the /usr/sap/SID/TRX**/exe/python_support by using the python script.

What all error you are haning in the trex you can dignost with python Script.
