Former Member

Hi Experts,

In My CMS i successfully imported ESS.SCA,MSS.SCA,PCUI_GP.SCA to "Development tab" after successfully Checkin.

now i selected track in In Active DC's in "NWDI". here it will display the following list

1.sap.com_SAP_ESS_1

2.sap.com_SAP_MSS_1

3.sap.com_SAP_PCUI_GP_1

while expanding these ESS/MSS services components the ESS/MSS DC's are not displayed. I am going to customize ESS/MSS screen using NWDI. how to display ESS/MSS DC's? under InActive DC's?

Manivannan P

HI ,

also make sure that

same SP version of the Build Plugins (SAP_BUILDT, SAP_JTECHS, SAP-JEE, EP_BUILDT, ...)are used in one track.

HI,

After check in,

you will see the DCs in the Development tab.

Checking in will only put the SCs in the import queue of dev but not import into dev system really.

there you have to select the SCs and click on import one by one.

once you get the status import fifnished in' Development tab' you can fin dthe DCs under inactive DCs in NWDS.

Satya.

HI,

if your import was successful, ie, status import finished , you must definitely find the DCs in NWDS

Jus try closing NWDS and open again.

Also, try removing the imported configuration and import again.

Did you import the DEV or CONS configuration in the NWDS? You got to import the DEV.

You can also go check out the Component Build Service, in the view Buildspaces you should be able to see if DCs are broken and how many DCs are in the Buildspace.

Manivannan,

How much time did it take to import ess/mss approximately.

is there any runtime system configured for dev in that track.

You need to import in consolidation tab too.

Thanks

Hi satya,

while importing (ESS,MSS,PCUI_GP)SP14 packages are successfully imported. while importing SAP_BUILDT,SAP_JTECHS and SAP_JEE (SP18) import is failed?

Also: Click on the buildspace name with the broken DCs. Click on a DC name (e.g. ess/cats), here you should see a view with a table and the status of the component. Click on build protocol and check for the error in the build log. Copy paste the error message here.

when the import has failed, select the component from the list, click on the details button. Check the repository-import / CBS make log for errors.

HI,

try this way.

click on system state there for those DCs for whom import failed, select and click on add to import queue button.

they will again appear in the import queue of dev tab. import them again and let me know.

Hi Experts,

While importing SAP_BUILDT,SAP_JTECHS and SAP_JEE (SP18) the following error occured while selecting the details log. this is for SAP_JEE. I have used SP level of 18 but ESS/MSS SP level 14, shall i import SP Level 14 or 15 for SAP_BUILDT,SAP_JTECHS and SAP_JEE SC components.

doesnt really matter. I imported SP 15 with SP 19. Just try to remove them from the developed SCs and then reimport them again in the transport studio.

Dear Experts,

I imported successfully SCA files to DEV and CONS tab.Now i can able to view the DC components in Developmet configuration perspective in NWDS..

but when i check the CBS all DC components are coming under Broken DC's

Now i am going to in active DC's edit ess/in/bank DC's, Once i create the project after syn in active Dc's it will come under Webdynpro perspective.

Webdynpro perspective it showing all Jars and used DC components are missing.

I can't able checkout this components

where i miss the steps? how can i add the missing JARS and used DC's? How can i remove the broken DC's under CBS?

Give me your suggestions
