    hi,

if you are not maintaining common dist.channel & division, you have to maintain the master data for that particular sales area,

    for example:

if you have a master data for 1000,10,00 sales area,

it will allow only to that particular sales area,if you are not maintained common dist.channel & division,

you cannot create for sales area 1000,11,01

    regards

    senya

    Hi,

Common distribution channel and common division is used when you have to many sales area and one particular type of master data.

It gives the information that which distribution channel should be used for that particular combination.

Now if you have single sale area and you have not maintained this setting then you might get this error.

Because system does not find the appropriate record that which distribution channel should be used for that particular combination.

You can say this is also the one of the important assignment of the sales area.

So please do this setting if you donu2019t have done uptill now.

    Regards

    Raj.
