RH_GET_PERSON_FROM_USER - no result

Hello,

we are using org.management and we assign user-id to possition. In my understanding i can get with fuction modul RH_GET_PERSON_FROM_USER the releated personell no. But there is no result... I checked the relationship and there exist A 008 from position (S) to user (US)....

By the way, we don't want to use IT 0105.

Thanks for any help.

Markus

The mentioned FM will not return a value for A008 relation. This FM will return a value only if A208 with OTYPE US relation is maintained with position.

To acheive your solution, you should be using the FM RH_STRUC_GET passing the right parameters.

    Thanks,

    Suman

      Hello,

hhanks a lot for your fast Answer... I already implemente a new "evaluation path" from user to position to person and use fucntion module RH_STRUC_GET.

      Now its working.

      Regards

      Markus

    As Suman Said,

FM RH_GET_PERSON_FROM_USER is for User assignment to personal Number.(relation A208).You Maintain A208 and use this FM.If you are maintain User assignment to pernr with some other relation (A008,as u told) Use FM

    RH_STRUC_GET with evaluation path - A008
