Numbering Series in XL Reporter

Hi Experts,

Can anyone suggest/provide a guide on how to create such a report. I'm trying to design a report from XL Reporter which will display Items from specific vendor transacted in AR Invoice and Credit Memo and I can choose specific numbering series for that document.

Parameters:

Start Date

End Date

Vendor

Numbering Series

-

Hi Don,

I'm also Generate your require XL Report but i got the Numbering Series Number only.

I can not able to retrieve the Numbering Series Name, Prefix, Suffix Values in XL Report. All Field is display the value of n.a

I can able to retrieve the Series Only but that is not Numbering Series Name, that is Series Setup Value.

Hi,

How did you retrieve the Series? In 2005 we use ARP_Series to define the document in that series. Do you know how to retrieve the document in a specific series?

Hi Don,

If you need A/R invoice Series in Xl Report.

->> Start the XL Report.

->> Click the Tool bar then open the XL Report Window.

->> Click Tools on XL Report and click the Report Composer.

->> Open the Report Composer Window and Clcik the A/R invoice Tab then Drag the require fields(Series and etc.,).

Else, You can try to create Query Report and use Query Print Layout Designer.

The problem is, if you use the composer you can't find the "Series", under the A/R invoice tab you can only find there sequence code and sequence name.

Or in the Advanced Report Builder, where can you find the SERIES if you use the Transaction row to filter the report. I also noticed that SERIES exist in SBO 2007 PL47 but not in SBO 2007 PL35.

Hi,

In XL Reporter 2007, the field 'Series' on document headers are not exposed to the meta data, therefore you cannot use this field in your reports. Any reports upgraded from 2005 version which contains this field may have problem executing in 2007
