Sub report data goes on next row when I export report to Excel - Data Only


When I export a report containing a sub-report into Excel Data only - the single field that is on the sub-report appears on the next row down in Excel - although when viewing or printing the Crystal report is appears on the same line as the main report data.. I have made sure the font size and alignment is the same in sub-report field as on the main report. I don't want to export into Excel with formatting as there are too many tiny empty rows and columns.

Any suggestions please? Thanks
