How can BW load data from S/4 ?

Can it use the nomal BW Data Source ? I have google this question , somebody said the traditional data source are still in use , but i see note :153967 and 2289424 , the BI_CONT and BI_CONT_EX is not supported in S/4 . So how can BW load data from S/4 ?

Hi,

You can still use the classical DataSources based on the SAP BW MYSELF connection.

Nevertheless the usage of the ODP based extraction to SAP BW is recommended with S/4 and SAP BW on HANA before BW/4HANA.

The SAP Note 2289424 refers to the Content on the S/4 System and not for a separate SAP BW System.
