SAP and maxdb integration

Dear all

we have our DMS server on Maxdb and our r/3 db on oracle ,

can we integrate with db59 and lc10 t-codes and other related maxdb t-codes so that i can manage maxdb database

please assist me

Yes - sure you can.

Start DB59 and enter a new entry for your database. It's self-explanatory.

LC10 is used for Livecache only.

I am getting the fiollowing error,when running t-code db59 -->connection test

I check the RFC its fine ,

Application Server: ides_IDS_00 ( Windows NT )

1. Connect. test with "dbmcli db_state" Unsuccessful

dbmcli_command_execute_error

Error! Connection failed to node ides for database CDB:

-24950,ERR_USRFAIL: User authorization failed

External program terminated with exit code 2

2. Connect. test with command mode "dbmrfc db_state" Unsuccessful

dbm_system_error

Name and Server : CDB - ides

DBMRFC Function : DBM_EXECUTE

Command : db_state

Error : DBM Error

Return Code : -2

Error Message : ERR_USRFAIL: User authorization failed#

3. Connect. test with session mode "dbmrfc db_state" Unsuccessful

dbm_system_error

Name and Server : CDB - ides

DBMRFC Function : DBM_CONNECT

Error : DBM Error

Return Code : -2

Error Message : ERR_USRFAIL: User authorization failed#

4. Connect. test with "native SQL" ( LED ) Unsuccessful

Operator user and password wrong.

Standard database user wrong.

You have, of course, to provide the correct passwords.
