Hi Wolfgang,

As mentioned in another answer, you can create manually in SolMan an EWA session for the dedicated system.

But, what's the value of having an EWA report every workday?

Most (or even all) data are based on the previous week day.

So, I would assume, that all the EWA reports within the same week are (almost) identically.

Why do you request an EWA report every workday? What's your requirement?

Hi Ruediger,

thanks for your question. Our customer wants to have a daily report only with performance data e.g. St03n Timeprofile bufferquality etc. I absolutley agree with you. any idea to create a special customerlike EWA only with performance related data??

Hi Wolfgang,

two possibilities for "daily reporting":

1.) just for fun: local in ST03N ..--))

2.) out of BI in SolMan. Here you can create individual queries and publish the data to your customer. Maybe via portal, so he can even fetch the data by himself.

Hi Wolfgang,

indeed this is what I am thinking about right now...

As far as I can see, first of all the relevant satellite systems have to be set up in Diagnostics (SMD agents and all that stuff).

With this, the extractor framework gets run, new extractors for the new systems arise and will manage the data transfer into the BI. But - I still do not know if all needed data is transfered (and how one can manage to transfer additional data into the BI).

Query design is done by standard BI tools like BEX (as we know, every SolMan admin can handle this ..--)), transfer to customer is also managed by default portal integration.

--> So here we can see how the SolMan theme is exploding! I wonder if old basis guys can still keep going on with all this...

Maybe we can later share our experience in this subject...

HI,

You can generate reports when needed.(adhoc)

In DSWP-Opertation setup-Solution Moitoring-Earlywatch alert-Create->choose system.

Go to SDCCN in satellite system- Refresh session->start the Earlwatch service process-(EDIT-Start now)

once its done/generated->send the session data and start the service processing.

But yes, Customization is not possible

Hi Wolfgang,

as the EWA is a global template, there is absolutely no possibility for customizing.

You may change the day when the report is generated (e.g. if you have many reports for a large landscape to avoide performance problems in SolMan system), but the EWA always covers a whole (the last)week.
