New Lay Out for Sales Order List (VA05)

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to save a new Lay Out when displaying the Sales Order Lists but there is no chance to save it. By going throunth the Menu: Settings - Lay Out - (Option SAVE appears in grey as not selectable).

Does anybody know how to save a new Lay Out?

My intention is to highlight the column STATUS, in order to know which Sales Orders have been already delivered, are partially delivered or are set as not delivered. I have found another way, via VA05 - Menu - Enviroment - Document Status, but the best way would be a new Lay Out with column STATUS set in the first places.

I would really appreciate any instruction relating this issue.

Hi

To activate the SAVE option in VA05, go to SU01 and in your User Id add "SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN" parameter with value "X" and save.

Then go to VA05 and run the transaction, check now, you will found that Save option for layout is active now.

Hello Shahzad,

In order to be able to save new variants when executing TX-VA05, it is necessary to add SD_VARIANT_MAINTAIN with value "X" in user customizing (SU01).

Sometimes, you need a special role to be able to modify users.

Thank you for this note. It was really helpful. Can you tell me how do i enable Saving of Variants on User Specific Level? Right now only default is being saved.
