SAP BW direct connection on Xcelsius SP 2

Hi Guru..

For enhancing the Query performance on Xcelsius against SAP BW.

I download the Xcelsius SP2 and installed....

But for direct connection against SAP BW, the BW 7.02(EHP1) is needed...

Do anyone have the experience on this?

Anyother problems upgrading 7.02 for Xcelsius SP2 and SAP BW direct connections?

I have to say to our customer about the Upgrading SAP BW 7.02 for Direct connection to SAP BW on Xcelius...

Please share your experience about that...

Users just started exploring all the options and bug fixes of SP2....

Yes, customer has upgrade to BW 7.02, this option to connect to BW backend system requires SPS to support, however this funtionaliy is not yet released. This require BW 7.02 SPS 5 (EHP1 SPS 5), as per the SPS release schedule this will be available in Oct 09.

-> This means, for Direct connect to SAP BW on Xcelsius 2008 SP2,

SAP BW requies upgrading 7.02 SPS 5(EHP1 SPS 5), but SPS 5 is not release yet .. till Oct.

And this means just today, we can't use SAP BW direct connect option?

is it right?
