Hello experts:
I would like to know your opinion on how hard is it to configure and customize the TDMS? I have done some research and seem lie that the configuration and usage are 2 different activities. I have come to conclude that the usage (creating projects, packages etc) can be managed from master and the operations guide but not so sure about the set up part. Do we need SAP to set this tool up or can it be managed from SAP notes etc?

Hi Odin
Let go any inhibitions that you may have about TDMS. TDMS is not at all difficult or complex to configure or implement. Actually its very simple, user friendly and self intuitive.
To set us and configure TDMS you may want to refer to the TDMS installation guide and the master guide. To set up you just need to install some addon components, some SPs and some notes, after which you will need some users to be created on various systems in the landscape and some other configuration. Any Basis administrator will be able to do all these thing with ease.
Regarding executing TDMS package you may want to refer to the TDMS solution operation guide and also the activity documentation available for each activity in the implementation guide.
Also last but not the least this forum is always there to help you with issues that you may face or for the information that you may need.
I hope this helps

Hi;
Are multiple process types (scenarios) possible? For instance, I may need TDTIM for one team, and then TDHC2 for another team? Is this kind of multiple options for packages possible?

Hi
Your question is not very clear. Do you want to know if you can run multiple scenario? You can run them sequentially (one after the other) not in parallel.
Say you want to use a common TDMS server for different senders and receiver then you may run multiple scenario's in parallel.
I hope that helps

Pankaj,
Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if there is a step by step configuration document etc for this add on?
