pernr deleted

Hi Buddys,

By mistake I have deleted the pernr. Now I wanted to get back the pernr in the system with the old personnel number.

I have only the solution i.e hiring the employee again. If I hire that employee new personnel number will come. But I don't want new personnel number.

Regards

Siri

Hi sikindar,

Thanks for your reply.

I have given 'No' status 99 and From number 100 and what number I should give in To number. If I give the same number, I am getting from number is smaller than to number.

already I have defined internal number rage with some series..

I think you can define the new number range- External. Change the numkr feature and ionce the hiring is done revert your changes.

Skinder Bhai, please correct me if I am wrong.

Current STATUS 99

PA40 give 100 and start hireing

and make sure that 100 is being deleted in the system

HI..

Check if u have debugging change access in PRD. set a break point in infotype 0000 module pool program.

Take the help of tech consultant & change the error messages to warning & try saving the info group.

Hi Sri,

As mentioned by Sikinder, go to PA04 > click on status button > make current number as 0 > change number range as external by clicking on Ext check box > Then hire same employee with same information and enter your PERNR manually > then come back and revert all your number range.

Note:- Before changing number range as external, take a screenshot. So it will be easy while reverting...

Revert for further clarification.

Siri,

Please try maintaining the Exetrnal Number range only for Hiring the deleted EE once again in the system.

I think this should work.

You can update your number range back to the PERNR you want to use via the IMG using the following path:

Personnel Management > Personnel Administration > Basic Settings > Maintain number range intervals for personnel numbers > Status

I would only recommend doing this only if you haven't hired any additional employees and the deleted PERNR was the last one used!
