Search help not working for "Shop on Behalf"

Hi,

We have assigned root org id for few set of users in requester

attribute to allow them to use shop on behalf functionality for rest of

the users in organization. It is working fine in DEV and QA but we have

really big organization structure in PRD and now when these users are

trying to search users for whom they want to shop the search help

(BBP_BOBUSER_VALUE2) is not giving any results. It is running forever

and finally we need to kill the process through SM50.

This is standard search help and we would like to get the results

through this search help in few secs.

In production, we have around 3 lakh users. Kindly provide some solution to overcome this performance issue.

Hi Mani,

SRM std has a maximum number of users that can be included in the REQUESTER attribute. check SAP NOTE: 1095895

What is the performance if you set the lower level Org. ID which has small number of people?

The performance trace ST05 transaction may help you.

In DEV & Quality systems, the performance is fine as they have very less no of users.

They give the search results in few seconds itself. It happens only in production.

Hi Mani,

Based on your user count in Production it will surely give performance issue. But I would advise you to please maintain Attribute with some limitations.
