Consumed budget in FMRP_RW_BUDCON is showing negative Value

Hi,

Consumed budget in FMRP_RW_BUDCON Report is showing negative Value for an expense commitment item.

As a result the value is getting added to the Consumption Budet and available budget is showing the sum of the two values.

Any quick help is highly appreciated.

Hi,

That's standard; if you creadit your budget line with a negative posting, the available budget grows accordingly.

Thanks Eli for the quick answer.

Actually I have checked the Commitment Item GL for the postings, but there is no credit (-ve) posting as such to the Account.

Can there be any other reason?

Yes, could be that your AVC ledger is messed up. Run FMAVCREINIT transaction and check the report again.
