Thanks a lot Przemyslaw Koniecny, it worked for me. For some of the translations the printed form was not showing the correct translation despite the translation was done correctly. After I ran this program it worked. 🙂

Hello All,

I have recently gone through such issue, and found the similar difficulty, i.e. even after maintaining the translations in the respective language, its not visible at adobe form level.

As per my understanding, the issue is with one of the exporting parameters ( type sfpdocparams ) while calling the adobe function module, where we need to pass the respective language, in which we need to see the required translations.

For example, lets say, if we pass the language field as "sy-langu", and which ever language user login, and if the translations are maintained for the respective logged-in language, then the translations must be visible at adobe form level.

Regards,

Sachin.

Did you use transaction SFP to develp your form in English? If so, go to that transaction and enter your form name and select change. From there, you can select from the menu GOTO --> TRANSLATION. You will be prompted for the lanugage to translate from (Original) and the Target. From here, you will need to select 'Forms and Styles' and double-click the PDFA line. Now you will see you boxes, one with the English (on top) and the bottom half you can begin your translations to the other language.

Just a note, it is best to perfrom this action while logged in under the language you want to translate to. We found issues with special scharacters being saved incorrectly.
