Configurations for Process orders--Copied automatically while coying plant

Dear ALL

I have to transport my configurations from develpoment system to quality system. basically the entire org struture(plant etc) will be moved from one system to other. I know some of the settings in PP--process orders and dependent settings --are populated\created automatically the moment org structure(plant) is created in new system. But i am not sure which are the one created automatically.

Looking for information on this... what all settings are populated automatically for process order settings when we copy plant from system to other...and if it is not done automatically, what do we do to copy these process order and realted settings. How we do it...and any particular thing we neeed to take care while doing this.

regards

balwinder

    HI,

When you say Transport , you need to rel and import all the Transport requests in to the Quality System.

There could be thousand of Transport requests.

By just importing one Plant Trasport req , you will not be able to transfer all.

However there is a COPY CLIENT functioanlity incase both the systems are in the same sever box.

Check with your Basis guys, if this is applicable.

Otherwise you need to tranpsort all your requests from one system to another.

    Regards

    Ratan
