Hi,

I moved some of the objects with job and project to central repository and i had all the permissions for the objects, job and project and when I did the "Compact Repository" to delete the older versions of the objects but i lost my permissions for the project and objects that are in central repository ...i just have read permissions for my project and objects and how do i get FULL permission back as I just have READ only permission

That's an ugly one. I hope Manoy has an idea or anybody else experienced that already.

    Hi

That's quite tricky. You have to edit the data in the Central Repo though SQL.

This is dangerous..! I suggest you take a backup first. Or even copy the data to a new schema and practice on that one.

You have to add a row per object per group in the table AL_OBJ_PERMS

    This has 4 columns:

NORNAME - Normalised Object Name - lookup in AL_LANG

(e.g. select normname, name from cr_repo.al_lang where name like '%TABLE1%')

    OBJECT TYPE

    (1= DF or R/3 DF; 12 =Function; 4= FileFomat; 5=Datastore; 0 = WF or JOB; 68 XLS 7= table; 11=project)

GROUP ID (this is the ID of the group you created, first group will be 1)

PERMISSION (this should be 2 for FULL).

    Hope this helps
