CATS Error

Hi Experts,

I am facing a typical problem here. I dont know whether it is standard behaviour or an error. Request all of you to comment on the issue mentioned below,

I am working on a project at a clients place and have got some activities assigned to the respective WBS's. I have done resource planning and have even assigned resources to the respective activities. I am logging the efforts for these resources. I am facing a problem here. Suppose i had planned an activity from 1st Jan 2009 to 31st March 2009. I was able to fill the timesheets and log in the efforts during the planned period. i.e 1st Jan 2009 to 31st March 2009. I have not extended the activity dates beyond 31st March 2009. At the same time i havent even confirmed the activity. Ideally speaking system should not show this activity and the resource asigned to it in the worklist when am booking the times for the month of April since i had planned the activity from Jan to March. At present system is still allowing me to book times for the month of April.

I request all you experts to comment on the above issue. Should the activity be displayed in the worklist and should the system allow me to book the efforts for the month of April and so on?

What should i do in order to avoid that activity from reappearing in the worklist? Is there any setting in the Data Entry Profile which i need to change?

Check the "data entry period"...

If you move to a period after march 2009, then the activity would not show up in the worklist.

Also, check the CATS configuration on Time sheet-> data entry profiles -> Time settings
