User working in ABAP stack and not in JAVA stack

Hello

I have a WAS 6.40 server in which we have j2ee_admin user with all j2ee admin roles required.

We can access the Abap stack using the J2ee admin user but not able access to java stack.

Any Idea whats the reason?

Please find below error in security.3.log log file:

    Hello

Please can you answer a few questions.

    1. Were you ever able to logon to the Java Stack with user J2EE_ADMIN?

2 Can you logon to the Visual administrator with J2EE_ADMIN?

    3. What are you trying to access on the Java Stack?

    4. Is the datasource of your Java stack set to point to your ABAP engine?

    Thank You

    Anwar

      Hi

If you have managed to logon after clicking oin the "System Information" link then you have successfully managed to logon to you Java engine.

Are you still having your initial problem? If so please explain to me what you were trying to do and when you were getting the logon error.

      Thanks

      Anwar

Check if your JAVA stack is started. if not, start and then give a go.
