Releaser Name

Hi, my PO release workflow is working fine but my problem is that in the Notification, i want to put "PO number released by (releaser name)." But I cant find the name of the releaser, instead, what only works is the Releaser Code. I tried the object "Executed by userid" but it's still not working.

I think you need to bind the WI_ACTUAL_AGENT container element from task to Workflow container eleement and use this element in notification.

Hello,

By "releaser code" do you mean userid? Is Releaser an attribute of the BOR object bing used? If so, you could add a virtual attribute which works out the name of the Relaser, and use that.

Our releaser code consists of 2 characters. (example, AB)

I wanted to put the name or the SAP userid of the releaser.

How do I add the virtual attribute?

Hello,

Which BOR object does this workflow use? Check its definition in SWO1 to see if there already exists an Attribute which will help you. If not, you can create your own attribute (and maybe first delegate the BOR object).

But maybe you can just do it within the workflow. Is there a connection between AB and a userid? Couldn't you get the

userid from the Actual Agent of a workflow step, eg where they do the actual approval?

Im using BUS2012.

I already tried to use the Actual agent but there's nothing appearing in the notification.. what could be the possible reason why there's nothing appearing in the Actual agent? my Work item text is typed correctly and there are no unnecessary characters in it..

Is the container element created In wflow getting populated.

Can you elaborate your notifiaction step................how and what type of notification?...i mean your business requirement.

When the agent executes the workitem then the PO gets relaesed right? so you have to do the binding for the step which is responsible for handling the relaeasing of PO
