Hi Friends,

Here when i perform activity "offer declined" for application/candidacy the status is still showing as "inprocess" in portal front, but when i checked in the backend tables through HRP5139 (Status change) it was updated as "Rejected",

What is the reason behind that, is it possible to change the status of the object manually in the front end.

Can anybody suggest on this.

Hmm,

seem like a little déjà-vu here. Hadn't we this topic some days / weeks ago? ;o)

Most likely reason for the described effect is that the rejection activity is customized for object type application only. When creating the activity the application is set to this status. For any reason the status refering between application and candidacy is not active / bugged / hasn't be developed at all, so the candidacy stays in status in process. As the candidate selection shows the candidacy status it is still in process there. To veryfy check the status of the application and candidacy in HRP5132 and 5133 furthermore check the object type assignment for the activity.

Direct status setting for application / candidacy is only possible when processing minimum/manual data entry. In later process steps it is no longer possible.
