Set "Field Date" Default to Empty

Dear gurus,

Does anyone know how to set the default date field in SAP to empty (not filled automatically by system date), but mandatory?

We want to enforce users to input the right date for documents.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks gurus.

Best regards,

It could be possible...Take help from your ABAP Programmer........Ask him/her to look for an Enhancement Point or BADI or user-exit, where you can first set the Default Date as SPACE and then can validate the Date entered by the user........First one(Setting Date as SPACE) should be there in the PBO of the screen and the second one(Validate Date Value) should be in the PAI.

Reinstall using only AS Java, and it goes smoothly without any errors.
